The Pixies - Something Against You : The end all be all of angsty Pixies songs. Great ending too

Violent Femmes - Add It Up : Always reminds me of Reality Bites… Great song. Simplistic sharp tounged punk

The Replacements - We’re Coming Out : A bit on the aggressive side at first but the mellowed out “loungey” section is the best part

The Stone Roses - I Wanna Be Adored : Ambient and whiney…who could ask for anything more

The Jam - The Modern World : I’m still kinda new to this band but it seemed to fit. Kinda “Clashy”

Buzzcocks - I Don’t Mind : Originally wanted to throw Orgasm Addict on here…But this gem fit the mix better

Husker Du - Don’t Wan’t To Know If You’re Lonely : Husker Du was the primary influence The Pixies, and this track off Candy Apple Grey always stood out for me

Dinosaur Jr - Repulsion : One of my favorite bands, this track is off their first full length and sums up their early work in my opinion

My Bloody Valentine - Sometimes : Kinda slowing it down a bit. You may remember this song from Lost In Translation.

Joy Division - Twenty Four Hours : Always love the melancholy feel of Joy Division

The Cure - Boys Don’t Cry : I really wanted to find a “deep cut” Cure track out of my collection, but you honestly can’t go wrong with Boys Don’t Cry
